About Malcolm
I graduated in 2003 from the University of Canterbury. Since then, I’ve worked at five consultancy firms in Wellington, Vancouver and London. Over the years I’ve worked on a range of projects from residential work to project managing multi-storey projects.
I enjoy working with clients, finding out what they need and then delivering practical engineering solutions that result in the best outcome for all parties involved.
I have experience in all phases of project delivery from Concept Design through to Site Monitoring, including coordinating designs with other professionals, contractors and clients. My design experience, gained on a range of projects from residential to commercial and industrial, provides me with a broad base to apply my skills. I’m committed to providing quality design in a timely fashion.
I have specific expertise in design to New Zealand requirements including seismic analysis and design and have been involved in the design of innovative low damage structures.
About the Name
Every structure and element within a structure has its own axis. The axis defines the structures direction of movement and allows engineers to define the structure’s or element’s properties.
Axis Engineers sit down with our clients to:
